We currently have a number of opportunities for individuals to gain a recognised trade within the aircraft industry by completing a Modern Apprenticeship.\n\nOur apprenticeship program is tailored to develop outstanding apprentices who will obtain the relevant qualifications at college, whilst working onsite; fully supported to embark on their career journey to become fully qualified in the aviation industry as either a Mechanic Inspector, Tinsmith, Welder or a Spray Painter.\n\nWe have different entry requirements, to suit a variety of educational pathways and job roles and you must have passed these qualifications by August 2025 to be considered :-\n\nDuring the apprenticeship, you will work towards achieving an SVQ Level 2 and an NC (unless you already have these) whilst gaining valuable shopfloor experience.\n\nYou will then continue to build on your technical experience whilst gaining an Engineering Diploma or SVQ level 3. There may also be an opportunity to attend college on a day release basis to gain an HNC during your 2nd and 3rd year, with HND another additional option from 4th year.\n\nYou will need good communication skills, both written and verbal, be able to demonstrate basic practical skills whilst having a demonstrable interest in engineering and mechanics.\n\nIf this is something you would be interested in, then we would like to hear from you.\n\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
