We are now seeking a dynamic and inspirational Director of MIS and Funding who will provide leadership and direction to the College’s MIS, Funding and Examinations teams. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, our new Director of MIS and Funding will be the strategic lead in the development of these services, helping to drive continuous improvement across the College, putting information in the hands of decision makers, maximising opportunities and of course, ensuring high standards of data quality and compliance. This is a great opportunity to manage all aspects of our service and provide a fresh perspective to bring about further improvement.
As a member of the College Management Team, you will play a crucial role in influencing student experiences and driving forward the college’s performance, ensuring the college is best placed to deliver our strategic plan. As well as shaping the current systems to further enhance the college deliverables, the Director of MIS and Funding will lead and develop a talented, motivated workforce and work in partnership with stakeholders across the college.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing information systems within the FE sector, a strong track record of data systems, with sound knowledge of funding, data, and compliance. Along with strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy, you will have the ability to use your insight to influence key stakeholders at all levels and to provide effective support and challenge across the organisation. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to get the best out of your teams, are also of paramount importance.
