A proactive, strategic approach, coupled with a focus on organizational delivery, is crucial for overcoming complex challenges and achieving results. Additionally, maintaining a high standard of ethics and confidentiality is essential.
Your understanding of employment law, people metrics and good practice will enable you to influence and drive our people plan; from employee relations to talent and engagement and empowering a high-performance culture.

The Role
As a trusted partner to our Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will provide strategic guidance and support, acting as a coach and mentor to foster effective leadership and people management practices across our London and South East Division.
You will be instrumental in leading a culture of performance excellence, embedding clear goals and feedback mechanisms to drive business improvement and your expertise in employment regulations and change management will be essential in driving organisational efficiency and managing cultural shifts.
You will drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organisation change, structures, people processes and business improvement to improve business efficiency. Acting as a champion and role model for culture and values across the organisation you will ensure people initiatives are effective in embedding and reinforcing values and that leaders are ambassadors.
We have adopted a hybrid way of working which typically requires 2 to 3 days per week in our divisional office in Hatfield, with the rest of the time spent working from home or attending off-site meetings.
Your Attributes
You will have:
* Delivery focused and able to demonstrate skills within a highly matrixed and people partner model
* Leadership and people management skills, balancing the strategic and practical operational people agenda.
* Adept at communicating, influencing, coaching, educating, challenging, and managing senior stakeholders.
* Proven gravitas to play a prominent role in relationships with senior management and other stakeholders
* Strong understanding of the HR and Legal requirements.
* Strong understanding of a project management approach and change management.
* Computer literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
* Able to interpret data and use this to spot trends and make considered decisions quickly.
