The Role:
As our Travel & Accommodation Administrator, you’ll be the go-to person for all things travel-related. Your role is vital in ensuring that our employees have smooth, efficient journeys, whether they’re heading to a conference or settling into temporary accommodation. You’ll be the wizard behind the scenes, making sure every detail is in place for a hassle-free experience.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange and coordinate all aspects of travel, from flights and accommodation to transportation and documentation.
- Manage travel itineraries and assist employees with any travel-related questions or issues.
- Monitor travel budgets, balancing cost-effectiveness with comfort and quality.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, hotels, and other service providers to negotiate the best rates.
- Collaborate with departments to organize group travel for meetings, conferences, and events.
- Handle travel-related administrative tasks, including expense reports, invoice processing, and meticulous record-keeping.
- Manage company-owned or rented properties, maintaining records of allocated workers, meter readings, and more.
- Support various other administrative tasks essential to our operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in travel coordination, ideally in a corporate environment.
- Previous experience of outward-bound calling to make bookings and travel arrangements.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in travel booking websites and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work without Supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle urgent travel requests.
