Product Support Engineer - Rail

As a Product Support Engineer - Rail, you will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mtu rail products to the standard specified in the approved manuals, in accordance with contract requirements and embracing digitalisation.

What you will be doing:
* Perform preventative, scheduled, and corrective maintenance activities following maintenance schedules, manuals, and contracts.
* Participate in continuous improvement activities for maintenance and procedures, suggesting improvements where appropriate.
* Carry out planned maintenance tasks according to operating instructions.
* Attend meetings with customers to obtain sign-off for work completed on their equipment.
* Undertake fault finding and repairs using technical information such as drawings and guides.
* Complete documentation for all work to ensure accurate records for the company and customer.
* Engage proactively with the Company's HSQE management processes.
* Maintain cleanliness of onsite facilities.
* Attend local and factory training courses to keep skills current.
* Participate in 24/7 shift work, including callouts when required.
* Work as a mobile engineer if needed; a van will be provided.
* Perform related activities, including covering work in other depots.
* Report parts used during service accurately to manage stock effectively.
* Utilize IT systems such as Go!Care, C4S, eWeb, Go!Manage, Go, Diasys, Outlook, etc.
