Who are we looking for?
An opportunity has arisen for a Contract Supervisor to join our team based in Warwick. Working as a Contract Supervisor, you will be managing the Grounds Maintenance performance and delivery to the required standard on our surrounding contracts. This role includes people management, health & safety conformance and assisting the Contract Manager where necessary. This is a permanent position working a total of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Principal Accountabilities
1. To co-ordinate teams according to contract specifications and workload.
2. To monitor work progress and performance, taking prompt action when needed and reporting any irregularities
3. To liaise and work with Client officers at appropriate level to meet expectations in relation to completed / outstanding /additional work.
4. Maintain records of all tasks completed utilising the Acorn Job Management system.
5. Complete quotes for additional works as and when requested using contract rates.
6. Participate in any joint quality inspections and attend weekly contract monitoring meetings as requested by client officers
7. To communicate effectively and confidently both on a one-to-one basis and in groups.
8. Adhere to HR processes and procedures.
9. Ensure all HR matters are dealt with accordingly and passed to the Contract Manager if necessary.
10. To understand the law relating to Health & Safety and understand and implement the company’s Health & Safety policy ensuring the completion of Accident and near miss reports.
11. To understand and implement risk assessments and COSHH.
12. Manage according to budgets set by idverde.
13. Full UK driving license.
14. Wide knowledge of all ground’s maintenance activities.
