Job Title: Site Closure Fibre Planner
Are you an experienced Fibre Planner looking for your next contract opportunity? We are seeking a Site Closure Fibre Planner to support major network rationalisation and site closure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Network Planning: Ensure site closures have minimal service impact and align with planned outage windows.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project teams and external engineers to meet Vodafone standards and timelines.
* Network Validation: Ensure network accuracy in GIS systems and verify readiness before changes.
* Audits & Risk Management: Conduct detailed network audits and proactively identify risks, reporting them to stakeholders.
* Project Coordination: Attend project meetings, liaise with the Fibre Delivery Manager, and contribute to planning discussions.
* Design & Documentation: Create high-level and low-level designs, including splicing schedules and schematics.
* Records Management: Work with the records team to maintain up-to-date network documentation.
Requirements:
* Strong experience in GIS systems
* Knowledge of Vodafone/OLO national networks
* Proven background in fibre network planning
* Ability to work field-based in Northern England or Scotland
