You’ll help us make health happen by:
1. Overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home.
2. Creating and updating individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate, and up-to-date medication records.
3. Ensuring adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
4. Providing day-to-day support and guidance to the team, promoting our residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
5. Building lasting relationships with the residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
6. Liaising with local partners to raise the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.
Key Skills and Qualifications Required:
1. Hold a valid UK NMC pin and stay committed to the NMC Codes of Conduct & professional development.
2. Understand the impact of quality nursing care on residents’ lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
3. Stay up to date with tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
4. Build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
5. Excellent at prioritising tasks and working efficiently as a compassionate team player.
