As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in fostering positive behaviour and creating a supportive atmosphere for students in a Primary School. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to implement strategies, interventions, and support plans to address challenging behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.

Salary Scale: £80-£105
Contract Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
1. Provide targeted support to students to address challenging behaviour.
2. Implement and monitor individual behaviour support plans.
3. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to address specific needs.
4. Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their social and emotional development.
5. Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide behaviour initiatives.
6. Provide feedback to teachers and parents on the progress of behaviour support plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven experience in a similar Teaching Assistant role is advantageous.
2. Empathy and a genuine passion for promoting positive behaviour in students.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
5. Knowledge of relevant behaviour management strategies and interventions.
