At our Dartford site (CMT), our mission is to be the industry choice for high potent, high value API micronization. Today, we supply ~40 micronized products to a wide range of customers and patients. We are currently recruiting for a Material Handler to join our Dartford site. The Material Handler will play a key role in the preparation and execution of all material movement steps at CMT. This includes material receipt, storage, supply to and from production, and dispatch from the CMT site.
The role:
* To operate warehouse mechanical handling equipment (high racker, Forklift truck, pedestrian truck, drum handler, wrapper…) in accordance with safety requirements.
* Perform all equipment checks to ensure the safe operation of equipment.
* Ensure working areas are inspection ready and compliant at all times in line with SOPs, work instructions, policies, and practice, e.g., aviation security.
* Receive material into the site to ensure goods are available for sampling/supply to production. Material unloading from vehicles.
* Checking of product quality, integrity, and delivery documentation.
* Labelling and identification sampling.
* To perform physical sampling of active materials, components, etc., for quality control and in accordance with sampling requirements. Involves operating laboratory sampling equipment (e.g., hand-held Raman spectroscopy identity scanner) and sampling facility operation (use of downflow booth with personal protective equipment).
* Material Handlers play a key role in the preparation and execution of all material movement steps at CMT. This includes material receipt, storage, supply to and from production, and dispatch from the CMT site. Material Handlers do not process products within the processing bays but are instead required to support all material movement activities to ensure the timely receipt, processing, and dispatch of materials. This includes preparation and changeover of the bays (e.g., equipment transfer, cleaning, and the timely provision of materials) and warehouse operator responsibilities (e.g., material receipt and dispatch).
* To dispatch materials from CMT. Includes picking, checking, and labelling goods and completion of outbound documentation.
The Candidate:
* Basic Computer Literacy
* Demonstrated Knowledge of (a) Good Manufacturing Practice and (b) EHS principles & practice in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
* Strongly Desirable: Forklift Truck License (Reach and/or Counterbalance)
