Finance Assistant Nigel Wright are proudly working with a Sunderland based organisation who are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team, initially on a 10 month fixed term contract. This newly created Finance Assistant role is a full time position (37.5 hours) and will sit within their established finance team, supporting their current team with processing and systems. The Role This is a varied Finance Assistant role that will cover Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Income Management, Payroll and other adhoc Finance related duties.Typical duties will be: Checking, coding and entering purchase invoices Supplier statement reconciliation Income analysis Calculating and raising sales invoices Assisting the maintenance of the income contracts register Credit control and debt collection Assisting with the maintenance of the supplier contracts register Petty cash and expenses Assisting with monthly payroll processing and payment Credit card and purchasing card processing. Preparation of journals Other adhoc finance duties The Candidate The ideal candidate for this role will have: At least 2 years accounts/ finance experience AAT Qualified / or any other related finance qualification Excellent written and verbal communication skills Adaptable and enthusiastic approach to work Applying Interested?
