Due to a period of growth we are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Operations Assistant to work in our busy transport department in Hull. If you work well as part of a team, have excellent organisational skills, strong communication skills, and a passion to improve processes, then we would love to hear from you.
This is a full-time role that will follow a shift pattern, including some Saturdays.
* The Role
o Email management
o Assisting with the preparation of travel packs for drivers
o Co-ordination with external agencies and vehicle maintenance companies
o Assisting with compliance-related tasks
o Liaising closely with our team of coach drivers
o Ensuring internal systems are updated promptly
o Liaison with the wider business

o Experience using MS Outlook
o Answering telephone calls
o Good with MS Word and MS Excel
o Smart and professional in appearance
o Positive attitude
o Self-motivated
o Organised
o Hardworking, conscientious, and willing to go the ‘extra-mile’
o A team player - working with the wider business to achieve shared company goals
o Open to change with a growth mindset, comfortable sharing ideas for business improvement
o Have an administration background
o Transport experience would be advantageous
