We are looking for a digital officer to support our website and social media teams.
The council’s website is the front door to our services and used millions of times a year by the residents of North Yorkshire. Our staff intranet is an essential point of news and information for thousands of our colleagues on a daily basis.
Supporting the team leader, you would predominantly be creating, maintaining and updating these sites, as well as a number of other project and venue websites managed by the team. You would also be supporting our senior digital communications officers who manage the council’s main social media feeds and video content as well as leading on some of the many other accounts run by the team.
Showing a passion for writing and delivering excellent and effective content you would act as a champion for our residents and their customer journey to ensure they can access information and services as easily as possible.
