Working pattern: Hybrid but you will need to flexible depending on team tasks and resources. Weetabix Wednesday is a non-negotiable where we all come into the office for business partnering and meetings.
The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with the Marketing team and provide support to the Marketing Finance Managers by delivering top-notch analysis and insights. This will empower the Business to proactively make financially informed decisions armed with the best available information.

The purpose of this role is
· Provide accurate and timely reporting of financial results with variances to budget and forecast explained and challenged
· Analyse performance and providing key inputs into the monthly KPI and Brand reviews
· Support the process for new product development, ensuring that business plans are challenged, financially robust, reflect the sensitivity of financial outcomes and that key stakeholders are managed
· Post month-end journals and support with Commercial Finance month-end
· Support other areas of Commercial Finance as and when required
· Contribute to robust Financial Control by managing spend tracking, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, and performing variance analysis to ensure everything is on track
Requirements

* Possess excellent analytical skills/ advanced Excel skills
* Capability to work independently within a well-defined framework weekly.
* Demonstrate an In-depth understanding of the commercial landscape
* Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement ideas through co-operation with business areas
* A solid understanding of processes, practices, and procedures in the realm of financial operations.
Nice to haves
* Qualified or actively studying to be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
