Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Sale Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £100 Per day (based on a 6.5 hour working day) Job Duties: The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in the classroom, assist with lesson planning, and provide one-on-one support to students. They will help create a positive learning environment, supervise students during lesson time, and contribute to the overall educational experience. Required Qualifications: A relevant qualification in education or childcare is essential. Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work well in a team are required. Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting or with children is preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Good understanding of educational practises, the ability to engage with students effectively, and proficiency in supporting classroom activities. Preferred Qualifications: Additional qualifications in special education needs (SEN) or safeguarding children would be advantageous. Working Conditions: The Teaching Assistant will work within school hours, typically Monday to Friday. They will need to be adaptable to work with different age groups and have a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
