Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Team Manager/Head of Centre, Leaders is seeking a Property Manager to join our dedicated and dynamic team based in Croydon. As a Property Manager, experience is beneficial but not essential. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and support. You will act as a point of contact for our tenants and landlords, assisting them with inquiries, booking appointments, and ensuring a smooth process throughout the tenancy from beginning to end.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide excellent levels of both telephone and written communication for the duration of the tenancy.
2. Understand tenants' maintenance requirements and provide a triage service to resolve issues.
3. Communicate unresolved issues to landlords with proposed solutions and arrange works with dedicated contractors.
4. Update all parties regularly by phone, email, or text and log notes.
5. Make regular ‘well-being’ calls to landlords.
6. Work with the property management team to ensure all works are completed and invoiced within 21 days and update customers on progress.
7. Ensure all mandatory compliance/legislation is in place on all properties.
8. Work with Property Inventory Clerks to ensure all properties are inspected as required and communicate with landlords and tenants in line with company policy.
9. Place calls to all managed landlords and tenants 2 weeks prior to vacation to explain the check-out process and time frames.
10. Deal with non-managed deposits that are part of the No Deposit Scheme.
11. Ensure the check-out process is followed, and communication is sent out within company processes via the Depositary site.
12. Collaborate with team leaders, head of centres, and branch network to understand reasons for any lost units.
13. Maintain high levels of communication with internal and external customers.
