Junior/ Mid-Level Serious Injury Lawyer – Plymouth
We are looking for a talented Personal Injury Lawyer to join a growing team in the heart of Plymouth in our brand-new office. You will work on some of the most high-profile cases in the UK.
Whether you are an experienced Paralegal, a legal executive, or a qualified solicitor (up to 3 years PQE), you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to those whose lives have been impacted by catastrophic injuries, including serious orthopaedic, brain, spinal, and amputee injuries through to fatalities. As someone continuing to build their career within this specialist area of law, you will enjoy the autonomy to make decisions on intermediate and multi-track cases with the opportunity to assist on catastrophic cases.
You will be working within a friendly, sociable, and incredibly supportive team with additional opportunities for enhancing your business development skills while working alongside our charitable partners. You can enjoy the benefits of working from home with our hybrid working arrangements, which are complemented by our office premises located in the heart of Plymouth, overlooking Sutton Harbour.
You will also have the opportunity for some travel to meet with our clients face-to-face, as well as Court visits; a flexible approach in respect of this is welcomed.
Required Skills
1. Experience and ability to work on higher value cases
2. Focus on early intervention and rehabilitation
3. Excellent client care skills including regular personal client contact
4. Great communication
5. Proactive approach to progressing cases
6. Litigation and working to court deadlines
7. Ensuring limitations dates are met
8. Valuating quantum and effective settlement resolution
9. Use of in-house case management system
10. Keeping up to date with legal and regulatory changes
11. Additional skills would be looked upon more favourably
