Job Description As an Assistant Financial Reporting Accountant you will assist in the production of the Group's external financial reporting, including the Group annual report and accounts, quarterly interim reporting and subsidiary statutory accounts and related work papers. You will be involved in assisting in other areas such as accounting queries, external audit requests, process improvements and ad hoc projects. As an Assistant Financial Reporting Accountant you will be Assisting in the preparation of the Group annual report and accounts, subsidiary annual statutory accounts, and quarterly external reporting to agreed deadlines Co-ordinating external audit requests ensuring requests are responded to on a timely basis and accurate documentation is provided, whilst effectively communicating with the external audit team and group finance Producing statutory accounts work papers to a high standard and in a timely manner in accordance with reporting timetables, whilst also appropriately addressing review comments. Ensuring that all areas of work involved are well controlled, accurately prepared, documented and in line with the Financial Reporting Framework Assisting in the production of ad-hoc financial information and analysis as and when required Effectively communicating with key stakeholders across Group Finance to ensure the correct financial information is obtained, whilst also effectively raising issues with senior managers when needed.
