Job Title: Specialty Dr in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Grade: Specialty Dr Location: Croydon, Surrey Working Hours: 40 hours per week Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Dr in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our client’s dynamic inpatient team in Croydon, Surrey. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract. What will your responsibilities be? You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of children and adolescents, considering their personal history and symptoms to understand their mental health challenges. You will develop and implement individualised treatment plans, which may include psychotherapy and medication management, tailored to each young person's needs and goals. Leading a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Your role will also involve overseeing therapeutic interventions, including crisis management, and regularly monitoring and adjusting treatment plans to optimise care. Additionally, you will contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care. Your commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to relevant mental health legislation will be crucial in delivering exceptional care to young patients.
