Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Clean all areas as requested by the Hotel Manager including bedrooms, bathrooms, showers and toilets, and kitchen areas to the highest standards
* Replenish stocks of toilet roll, soap, paper towels as necessary
* Vacuum corridors, office areas and stairs as requested
* Damp wipe paintwork and high dust all areas
* Remove any rubbish to the designated area
* Report any maintenance and repair tasks in the hotel to the Hotel Manager
* Knowledgeable of the hotel and guest accommodation facilities and services provided
* Escalate anything unusual to management
* Attend department meetings where required
* Manage lost property in accordance with the lost property standard operating procedure
* Support Managers and fellow colleagues maintain the defined standards. Work with colleagues at all levels to deliver a consistent level of quality service.
* Knowledgeable of the department’s safety and emergency procedures
* Support the Hotel Team Leader and Manager in all areas
* Any other duties reasonably required of you to support the department or business as needed.

Skills and Experience
* Previous housekeeping or hotel experience would be advantageous
* Must be skilled in hotel room cleaning to the highest of standards
* Effective communication skills, adaptable to a wide range of audiences
* Be courteous, friendly, and professional
* Have an eye for detail
* Resourceful, efficient, and proactive
* Able to work on your own initiative
