Here at NCHA we have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our friendly and supportive team within Care & Support as an Administrator.
Reporting to the Project Admin Manager, you will work as part of a team of administrators based in different geographical locations to ensure everything runs smoothly at our projects. At NCHA a project is a service that provides care and support to vulnerable people or people with additional support needs.
About the Role
You will have demonstrable experience in an administrative type of role, reconciliation of finances and you will enjoy working independently. The successful post holder will work 22.50 hours between 2 care homes in Nottingham City. Watcombe Circus and Wells Road care homes which both provide support to adults with learning disabilities. You would never be expected to get involved in the support of service users.
Your roles and responsibilities will vary day to day but to give you an idea of what to expect, they may look like this:
* Provide full administrative support as required and allocated by the Project Manager of the service and/or the Project Admin Manager.
* General correspondence of internal and external communications – we expect that you have well developed communications skills.
* Administer the ordering, receipt and payment processes for goods and services in accordance with agreed procedures.
* Monitoring project expenditure.
* Supporting project staff with producing documents, letters, e mails, minutes – ICT experience of Microsoft Office applications is essential (e.g. Word and Excel).
* Maintain up to date literature and information for customers - Demonstrate your capability to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Assist in providing a safe and healthy physical environment for service users and staff.
* Financial reconciliation work which will involve checking the accuracy of the entries.
* Assist in operating the relevant control accounts and control systems to ensure completeness and accuracy of transactions and records.
* Prepare and process relevant system entries such as: invoicing and payments.
About you
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is as passionate about delivering great services as we are! To succeed in this role, you will have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your workload without direct supervision, alongside excellent Excel skills and an ability to spot errors to ensure work is accurate. Whilst experience in an admin role is essential, your positive attitude, great teamworking skills and enthusiasm are what will truly set you apart.
