Our Cleanliness staff played an essential role in fighting the global pandemic and are responsible for cleaning all areas of the hospital site.

Main duties of the job
The key purpose of the role is to provide a high-quality comprehensive cleanliness service, working to exceptionally high documented cleaning standards within Wards and Departments in a Hospital setting. To encompass specialist cleaning duties.
You will work alongside all service users and ensure that approved documented cleaning standards and frequencies are always maintained. Being prepared to work in any area across the Trust site.

Job responsibilities
1. To work alongside all service users and ensure that approved documented cleaning standards and frequencies are maintained at all times. Being prepared to work in any area across the Trust site.
2. To act as soon as possible in response to any request for Barrier Cleans.
3. To carry out Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour and Ultra Violet Light in the C Spectrum decontaminations on request (following approved training).
4. Completion of all relevant documentation.
5. Responsible for ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are properly used and kept spotlessly clean at all times. Report to Cleanliness Supervisor any cleaning equipment problems.
6. Liaison with Cleanliness Supervisors regarding cleaning equipment and cleanliness stock levels, to ensure sufficient cleaning materials are always available, check dates on items.
7. Any other duties and responsibilities determined by the Operational Cleaning Manager, within the parameters of the post.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good basic education to GCSE level.
Experience
* Experience of cleaning to a high standard in a similar setting.
