The Company
Overseas Group (trading as Overseas Supermarkets & The Food Co) is the largest British Food Retailer in Spain, Portugal & the Canaries. We sell over 5,000 different products to over 55,000 customers every week. Last year we reported annual group sales of €75m.
We operate 26 stores in 5 countries. We have the ambition & funding in place to open more stores in the future when the right opportunity presents itself.
We have exclusive partnerships with Iceland, Waitrose & the Co-op to sell their brands internationally in our markets, and we are about to start a similar (albeit non-exclusive) relationship with Morrisons.
Our business is traditionally a lean operation, but we are recruiting for an Invoicing, Stock & Commercial analyst based in our UK distribution Hub in Wigan. This role will support the business's commercial decision making as well as ensuring all trucks clear European customs seamlessly through the provision of accurate & timely invoicing.
The Role
The successful candidate will ensure all truck invoicing is created and submitted to customs agents and hauliers daily, whilst also providing accurate and timely analysis of management information to support business decision making.
In terms of Management Information, your main responsibility will be to continually analyse our stock holding and sales information to ensure we maximise sales, profit, and on-shelf availability whilst controlling the value of stock we hold in the business.
