We are recruiting for a Part-Time Support Worker, working 22.5 hours a week across a variety of shifts.
You will be working in a team of staff managed by a House Co-ordinator and Assistant House Coordinator focusing on aspects of care within one of our small cosy houses.
General Responsibilities will include:
1. Cooking and serving meals to residents.
2. Administer high quality and person-centred care to adults with a variety of learning disabilities ensuring their wellbeing at all times.
3. Assist with daily activities according to the wishes and needs of the resident, including transporting and accompanying them to health appointments and fun days out.
4. Administer medication and contribute to strict record keeping
5. Provide care for residents on outings and holidays on a one to one or group basis
6. Contributes towards assessments, care plans and attends resident reviews when required.
7. Works towards achieving SVQ3 in line with SSSC qualification and registration requirements
8. Personal care, including assisting in washing, dressing, undressing, using the toilet, changing sanitary products, bathing and so on
