Job Title: IT Support Engineer Rate of Pay: £17.13 Contract Type: Temporary Location: Cardiff Description: Our client, a world leading electronical manufacturer company based in Cardiff are recruiting for a IT Support Engineer for their busy IT office on a temporary basis. Reliable Knowledge and skills: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues across the entire Infrastructure services Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date Reporting / identifying faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops and laptops DNS / Email technologies / web hosting principles Ensuring licensing for all software purchased is recorded and maintained. Providing support for MAC / PCs. Network Maintenance, monitoring & fault localization. Fault diagnosis and resolution planning (costs/downtime/implications etc.) Key Responsibilities: Service Desk Management and support of all IT related services of the Data Centre and associated network connectivity Ensuring the required levels of security & regulatory compliance are maintained. Supplying and installation of hardware, software deployment and distribution.
