What you’ll be doing
* You will be managing a team of Chefs across the kitchens on site. You will be responsible for all Chefs/Back of house team members.
* Team rotas, processing payroll and staff training
* Placing orders and managing stock and wastage
* Preparing menus for functions and other special events
* Using Aramark systems (OPX, Aratrade, Myworklife etc)
* Overseeing production throughout
* Completing your daily checks and paperwork efficiently
* Ensure all recipes / specs are followed
* You will support the culinary team in the delivery of great food
* Prepare and cook a variety of food following recipe cards
* Ensure food is correctly stored according to food safety policies and guidelines
* Ensure all staff training is up to date and daily duties are delegated.
Qualifications:
* A DBS check will be required to complete your application
* Previous management experience (at least 3 years) and cheffing experience essential (NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
* Previous experience managing a kitchen and large team.
* Be a confident chef and leader
* Experience in our systems is desirable however training will be given to the successful candidate
