HV, hv cable Turner Lovell are recruiting an experienced Project Manager on behalf of our EPC Principal Contractor. The Project Manager will assist the existing team with the delivery of a major HV substation project. We are looking for a proactive, adaptable Project Manager who thrives in dynamic environments and has experience delivering complex infrastructure or energy projects, (a background in offshore wind. Nuclear. Fabrication or large scale civil construction would be highly beneficial). The successful candidate will interface closely with client, contractors, internal engineers, and commercial teams to ensure smooth project delivery. The project manager will be part of an experienced team and have an understanding of project change. Programme delivery and reporting Key duties: Lead project delivery activities from late design phase through to site execution and commissioning. Interface with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure program, cost, and quality objectives are met. Oversee subsea cable coordination Make autonomous day-to-day & project decisions in coordination with senior stakeholders. Conduct monthly site visits and engage in hands-on site walks with contractors and design teams. Support and guide a team including Engineers, Document Controllers, Technical Project Manager, and commercial/contractual personnel. Ensure all site activity aligns with project milestones and Siemens Energy processes. Contribute to risk mitigation strategies and decision-making processes. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience, ideally on infrastructure or energy projects >£15m. Engineering degree (Electrical, Civil or related discipline), or similar qualifications Strong background in project delivery - desired in fabrication or offshore wind environments. Excellent planning, cost management, and decision-making skills. Confident and outgoing with the ability to adapt to change and lead teams through dynamic project phases. Comfortable working autonomously and taking initiative. Strong IT skills and familiar with project management tools and reporting. Willingness to travel to NE England office bi-weekly and site monthly. Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams including civil contractors, engineers, and designers.The role is suited to an individual looking for their next major project.
