Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Whitstable, Kent
Salary: £40k- £45k
Full Time- 37.5 hours per week (Site Based)
About the Role Syntech Recruitment are working with this global client who are seeking a QA Engineer (Customer Concerns) to manage customer quality concerns and product rejects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring swift containment, investigation, and resolution of customer complaints, working closely with internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial investigations and containment of customer-reported non-conforming products.
Issue Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and ensure quick resolution of concerns.
Communicate with customers within 24 hours of receiving returned products, providing initial findings and containment updates.
Work cross-functionally with departments to execute 5Y/8D CAPA actions for effective problem resolution.
Manage and maintain the FRACAS Database, ensuring accurate documentation and timely closure of reported issues.Skills & Experience Required: Essential:
Proven experience conducting internal audits to AS9100 standards.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and problem-solving methodologies.
Metrology expertise, including the use of Verniers, Micrometers, and DTIs.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
