About the role: An enthusiastic apprentice who will work under the direction, guidance and supervision of an experienced mentor to support the delivery of excellent refurbishment, repairs and maintenance service, whilst working to achieve a number of skills and qualifications. The employee will be working based out of our Coatbridge office. The primary responsibility will be taking customers calls. This is done individually but there is a team around for support and advice throughout the working day. Accountabilities: Receiving inbound calls from customers/service users Sending and responding to email communication Logging and investigating repairs. Completing assignments – apprenticeship. (2 hours a day provided towards working on assignments) These assignments will be customer service based and will often where possible relate to the work they are currently doing within their job role. Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8am – 4.30pm Role Criteria: Functional skills in both Math’s and English The ability to learn and develop a thorough knowledge of the skills, technology and safety procedures required to carry out the full range of tasks Strong communication skills The ability to understand and interpret work instructions Be able to establish and maintain good customer/client relationships Understanding of the functions of Microsoft Office 365 – word, excel, outlook All our roles require candidates to have the right to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
