Your new role
In your accounts Semi-Senior job role, you will be responsible for the preparation of year-end accounts (in accordance with FRS102a and FRS105) for a range of sole traders, limitedpanies and partnerships, as well as some monthly management accounts. Day-to-day duties will also includepleting corporate, personal and partnership tax returns, ensuring senior managers are continually informed about progress. Your job role also requires you to carry out the preparation VAT return as well as bookkeeping when needed, whilst reporting into seniors/managers alongside your study.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm is seeking a professional semi-senior who possesses strong previous experience within practice. Ideally you will have strong experience with preparing statutory accounts (both from TB and iplete records) as well as some exposure to management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT. Strong IT skills are highly desired, specifically with Xero, Sage, Excel, Quickbooks (and other accounting/tax software) as well as the role being client facing, so strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and develop professional relationships is essential for the role.
