Monday to Friday 9.00-17.00 35hrs per week £27,835.00 per annum Remote working/Dalton Office Job Purpose The HR Officer will provide generalist transactional support to the HR team ensuring all day-to-day HR activity, including data and systems management, is conducted efficiently and to a high standard as well supporting in the delivery of the HR strategy. The HR Officer will need to be able to work independently whilst managing a range of varied tasks, ensuring a high-quality standard of work at all times. Main Responsibilities Support the Senior HR Manager and Head of Talent with projects. Support the Senior HR Manager in maintaining, testing and developing multiple HR Systems, such as HR System (Workday), Learning Management System and Reward & Benefits platforms. Support the Head of Talent with the management and implementation of training. Assist in responding to any HR and L&D related queries. Produce all relevant HR documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Support, advising and coaching sites/line managers on HR related queries. Processing and analysis of data in order to prepare the monthly HR reporting. Respond to any ad hoc data and MI requests. Support the HR team with GDPR compliance. Take minutes in meetings and hearings, as required, presenting in a consistent/professional format. Support the HR team during the annual performance management and pay award process in collating review scores, data and calculations. Raise purchase orders to arrange payment for invoices as and when required. Assist the HR Operations team in any ER related cases as and when required. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job Excellent attention to detail and high quality of work produced. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deal with sensitive issues professionally and confidentially. Can work well in a team or on their own, managing workload independently. Manages time effectively to simultaneously undertake a number of tasks. Knowledge and understanding of relevant employment law. (Desirable) Previous HR System database knowledge. (Desirable) Strong knowledge of using MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint. (Essential) Previous experience of working within a HR Administration/Officer role.
