Salary: £78,132 - £85,412 per annum

Job Purpose: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Highland Children’s Social Work Services is on an exciting journey of change and improvement through our Families 1st strategy - to safely keep as many children as possible within their families and connected to their Highland communities. In Highland we are committed to 'Keeping the Promise' and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Strategic Lead to manage our Placement Change Programme, fostering and adoption services, kinship care, permanency planning, and reunification efforts.
This role also encompasses the operational delivery of Residential, Fostering and Adoption, Through Care and After Care, and Disability services, ensuring an integrated approach in line with our Service delivery model. You will support all managers within the Service to deliver high-quality Social Work Services, adhering to our agreed delivery plan.
As a key member of the Service management team, you will provide effective and collaborative leadership across the Service. You will lead Service Management Teams, ensuring the integration of services is at the forefront of delivery. Your strategic and operational responsibility will include the delivery of our Corporate Parenting function, ensuring high-quality services are provided to individuals, families, and communities. You will ensure these services meet established objectives, adhere to the highest professional standards, and operate within current operational policies, legislation, regulation, and guidance

Requirements
A professional Social Work qualification, or professional qualification in related area, and evidence of continuing professional development.
