Electromechanical Maintenance Apprentice
This vacancy is for an Electromechanical Maintenance Apprentice based in Burnley.
Electromechanical Maintenance Apprentices ensure that plant and equipment perform to the required standard to facilitate production targets regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost within High Value Manufacturing environments.
An Engineering Maintenance Technician requires the application of a complex blend of skills, knowledge, and occupational behaviours across the electrical, electronic, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems disciplines.
The main responsibilities of an Engineering Maintenance Technician are:
1. Maintaining machinery and equipment.
2. Troubleshooting issues to maintain productivity.
3. Repairing faults in machinery and equipment.
4. Assisting with and performing installation and maintenance tasks in order to ensure the effective operation of various electrical and mechanical plant and equipment.
5. Repairing or maintaining all electrical and mechanical equipment alongside completing pre-scheduled preventative maintenance.
Training to be provided
1. L2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing (Foundation Competence).
2. L3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competencies) Mechatronics Maintenance Technician.
3. L3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge).
