Overview Of Role
There is now an exciting opportunity to join the Warehouse team at Trafford. The role would ensure the effective and efficient movement of stock (receipting/picking/put away/loading) within the warehouse environment, whilst maintaining all Health & Safety and food hygiene standards.
Key Accountabilities
1. Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures ensuring that the working environment is always safe.
2. Attend food safety, quality & integrity presentations on site.
3. Comply with all processes and equipment in accordance with the logistics operations, operating procedures, and work instructions.
4. Using the D365 system to ensure accurate placement and retrieval of stock, both from physical materials handling through to stock location.
5. Ensure all orders/products are handled and assembled with care, that all RF data terminal transactions and paperwork and pallet labelling is completed on time and accurately.
6. Ensure RF data transactions are completed and logged out as per the defined operational processes.
7. Maintain a hygienic and orderly warehouse complying with regulatory demands for a food-manufacturing and storage environment (clean as you go).
8. Be aware of and work with other team members towards target Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), both individually and for the team.
9. Use the RF scanners to pick & load orders.
10. Use the RF scanners to put away and move pallets around the warehouse environment in an efficient manner.
11. To complete cycle counts of racking.
12. Work with other team members to achieve daily objectives and targets for the team as an individual.
13. Handover any Work in Progress, equipment and the area in a safe, hygienic and efficient manner at the end of your shift.
14. Identify issues and escalate to Team Leader.
15. Provide cover for other team members on shift to ensure continuous productivity within the warehouse.
The Right Person
We are looking for a well-organised and structured individual that can manage priorities. You must have excellent attention to detail and are rigorous with Health & Safety, Food Safety and Food Hygiene. You should be flexible and be able to work in a fast-paced environment understanding warehouse processes. PPT (Power Pallet Truck) & FLT (Forklift) licence would be desirable for this role.
