A quick look at the role The Dynamics 365 Application Manager is responsible for the configuration and changes to the newly implemented D365 F&O ERP solution, reporting into the Senior Configuration Manager. They work closely with the Finance Business Systems team, developers and testers to ensure the system meet the business’ needs. They manage a team of application analysts who design and build configuration changes as part of the Finance product team. The role will grow to be responsible for other business applications over time. Your core responsibilities Manage the configuration of D365 F&O and other Finance & Procurement systems for Biffa, working closely with business to get the most value from the applications. Manage team of up to 3 application analysts, providing training and career development. Lead the technical design of the system enhancements, extensions, and integrations using the industry standard tools. Define the configuration management process - establish and maintain the configuration baseline that serves as the reference point for further development, testing, and deployment. Work closely with the business leads to plan the configuration & development needs over a rolling 12 month horizon and manage team capacity to deliver the changes. Provide 3rd line technical support and troubleshooting for system issues, working with the internal IT support team, vendor support team and other vendors as needed. Our essential requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience 2 years experience in configuring and managing D365 F&O. Experience in working with Power platform preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of the Enterprise applications functionality, architecture, and development tools. Proficient in using industry tools, e.g. Azure DevOps to track configuration changes through an Agile lifecycle.
