An opportunity has arisen to join the Lymphoedema team at Florence Nightingale Hospice as a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist.
This small and supportive team is unique in offering a broad range of therapeutic options chosen, and tailored to the individual, based on the comprehensive assessment of specialist Clinicians.
The hospice is based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital
To work with the Clinical Nurse Specialist & lymphoedema Practitioner in the daily activities within the Lymphoedema Clinic.
To participate in the delivery of a co-ordinated, high quality MLD service for patients with lymphoedema that is patient focused and will lead to an improved quality of life for the patient.
Assess, plan and implement the necessary MLD & therapy treatments for patients attending the clinic,ensuring patients with lymphoedema receive a package of care to meet their care requirements effectively and efficiently.
