Brief Description
To lead by example at all times as a safety professional, providing workforce health, safety and environmental advice, guidance, and support to all locally based functional teams, worksites and functional sites of work. Responsibilities include:
1. Provision of advice and guidance to staff regarding health, safety, assurance and environmental matters.
2. Carrying out risk-based inspections of the functions worksites.
3. Supporting Line Management in compliance with the Company Accident & Investigation process.
4. Assisting in the delivery of the NCAP/Functional integrated audit plan.
5. Managing the assessment and development of safety and environmental aspects of supplier contract documentation.
You will ideally have
National Examinations Board of Occupational Health & Safety (NEBOSH) General Certificate or Construction Certificate, knowledge of health and safety management systems, and good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
