About the Role The successful candidate will join the thriving Wealth Management Team, providing crucial support to fee earners who specialise in complex private client matters for high-net-worth individuals. The team focuses on sophisticated later-life planning, including will preparation, inheritance tax planning advice, trust creation, estate administration, and specialised succession planning for business owners. This position offers flexible and remote working options while maintaining connection with the vibrant Exeter office environment. Wealth Management Assistant Responsibilities: * Provide comprehensive administrative support to multiple fee earners, enabling them to operate efficiently * Manage professional diaries and coordinate appointments effectively * Establish and maintain communication with clients and third parties via telephone and email * Perform audio-typing and copy-typing with exceptional accuracy * Proofread and refine dictated documentation * Attend client meetings to capture detailed notes and produce meeting records * Assist with the preparation of draft wills, powers of attorney, and standard advice letters * Process payment requests and manage document retrieval and storage * Ensure clients receive necessary information and updates when fee earners are unavailable * Contribute to the team's commitment to delivering exceptional client care Wealth Management Assistant Requirements: * Exceptional organisational abilities with aptitude for coordinating multiple priorities * Outstanding attention to detail in all aspects of work * Superior communication skills, both written and verbal * Proactive approach with strong initiative and problem-solving capabilities * Calm and empathetic demeanour when interacting with clients and their families * Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team * Excellent time management skills with capacity to balance diverse responsibilities * Composed approach to working in a fast-paced environment * Prior experience in a legal support role is beneficial but not essential * Comfort with adapting to varying task requirements Benefits: * Competitive salary of £24,700 (Real Living Wage) * Generous 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Flexible option to buy or sell up to five days of annual leave * Plus numerous additional benefits!
