The Business Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring these transformations occur efficiently and effectively. The primary objective of this role is to support the implementation of technology solutions in a cost-effective way by gathering and analyzing project requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners.
Key Accountabilities
* Leading the analysis for small projects or specific workstreams within larger programs by gathering requirements and supporting design efforts.
* Delivering innovative recommendations to support the effective implementation of requirements.
* Collaborating with the project team to deliver on an agreed roadmap, estimating timelines, and aligning with overall delivery schedules.
* Ensuring adherence to governance processes, gaining necessary sign-offs, and aligning with the organization’s broader strategic goals.
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
* Partnering with the project team to understand and fulfill the needs of various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
* Regularly interacting with users, clients, management, and developers to ensure effective communication of project requirements, requested changes, and testing outcomes.
Decision-Making and Problem-Solving
* Leveraging sound judgment to provide actionable recommendations for a wide range of business matters.

Person Specification
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and present clear recommendations.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation and influence.
* Proficiency in Agile (Scrum and Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies, with a strong grasp of lifecycle management principles.
* Knowledge of data transfer, APIs, and cloud-based applications.
Desirable Skills/Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with SQL.
* Knowledge of financial regulations and an interest in banking.
* Expertise in payment technologies and the payment industry.
