An exciting opportunity has arisen for Supplier Development Lead to join the Supplier Management Team within the Aerospace Procurement organisation in the Design and Make, Aftermarket – Civil Large team. Day to day you would be accountable for ensuring that our commitments are met, managing a wide variety of issues often without a step-by-step guide to pull out, identifying cost effective solutions and to work autonomously, albeit in a wider team. This Planning & Control role will suit an individual that can go beyond and drive performance through finding solutions to problems and to improve external supply chain performance. What you will be doing: You will be accountable for managing a wide variety of Campaigns (change package) to ensure readiness of the supply chain affecting LRUs, working with a wide range of internal stakeholders and the vendor to ensure the vendor is ready for the launch of the campaign. You will drive and deliver multiple programmes of work in a fast-paced environment. You will support and lead change in the supply chain and provide support to the wider team when required for issues related to Vendor. You will be the focal point to support Vendor recovery plan when required. You will lead the vendor scorecard, collating inputs from delivery and quality teams to manage vendor performance and drive improvements.
