About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join our Living Places business unit to work in the Street Lighting department based in Coventry.
What you'll be doing
As a Technical Administrator, your main responsibilities are as follows:
* Planning/ scheduling third party jobs.
* Managing third party meetings with Client
* Creating/ Issuing Project Cover Forms
* Manage dig packs and permits for works required on contract.
* Creating/ Issuing Completion docs to client (in line with contract)
* Maintaining/ Updating bespoke documents to be circulated to wider management team (contractual reporting).
* Variation/ Valuation Management (in conjunction with commercial)
* Production and issuing of Invoices in line with company procedure.
* WIP/ Debt management (in conjunction with commercial)
* Contribution to year budgets and forecasts.
* Take ownership of monitoring and updating management information systems (inc. investigation/resolutions).
* Take ownership of monitoring and updating mobile digital systems devices.
* Manage reactive fault time frames.
* Assist the Operations team in taking, inputting, and monitoring reactive faults.
* Support systems manager with Digital implementations and problem solving.
* Assist in monitoring and updating central management system.
* Assist contract team in administrating any small 3rd party quotes.
Who we're looking for
The following qualities and experience are essential:
* Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes;
* Strong knowledge of business systems and mobile digital devices
* Strong work ethic and ability to prioritise tasks;
* Able to work on own initiative;
* Must be a good team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Understands the basic Company Protocols;
* Uncompromising approach to the implementation of H&S;
* Fosters a culture of Right First Time;
* Good working knowledge of MS Office programmes
* Good customer service skills
