Account Manager
I am looking for an experienced Account Manager to join my client based in Sidcup in the New Year. The main purpose of the role is to drive key accounts within a designated market, using effective planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to provide an excellent customer experience and give accurate forecasting and consistent achievement of the client's revenue targets.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
* Build an excellent rapport with all key customers.
* Deliver revenue against Quarterly outlooks by forecasting numbers with the Sales, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure Revenue and Material Margin outlooks are accurate, and any issues are highlighted early in order to react.
* Actively look to upsell and chase orders to meet revenue targets.
* Sell available manufacturing capacity to relevant customers within your key audience.
* Liaise closely with External Sales counterpart, attending some trade shows and customer meetings.
* Ensure that stocking levels are appropriate and that stock is sold regularly to avoid overstocking. Check that set levels are correct for forthcoming anticipated sales.
* Provide excellent customer service at all times, collaborating with the customer to solve problems and manage expectations.
* Chase payment of unpaid invoices with key customers as part of the regular contact process.
* Schedule work within existing guidelines, collaborating with colleagues to ensure that the best fit of work is sent to the plant.
* Maintain regular contact with customers to make sure that all their needs are anticipated and that revenue levels can be accurately predicted.
* Be aware of conversion costs and margin levels to assist in the decision-making process.
* Ensure shipping documentation and export management is carried out to the highest standard and kept in order in close conjunction with the Warehouse team.
* Process invoices once goods are dispatched.
This role is offering an annual salary between £40-43k depending on experience.
