A friendly school in Maidenhead are looking to add a Behaviour and Mental Health Support assistant to their staff starting as soon as possible.
The Role:
The successful Behaviour and Mental Health Support assistant will be assisting and supporting students who have struggles with their behaviour. These students have trauma, anxiety and depression and thus have a difficult time coping. They struggle especially with regulating and processing their emotions and managing their behaviour.
Day to Day:
The successful Behaviour and Mental Health Support assistant will spend their day to day helping the students in their daily tasks. You will be supported by the class teacher but will also be assisting them with general class duties. This will include helping set up for lessons, clearing up afterwards and helping manage classroom behaviour. This will be done in either a 1:1 basis or in a small group setting. You will be making such a difference in these children's lives.
