The Vacancy We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented IIOT Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Wrexham. In this role, you will provide customer support for Megger Industrial Reliability (MIR) hardware, infrastructure, and software. You will act as a technical support bridge between the UK Rossett office and the Dover Technical Support Group, assisting customers with system troubleshooting, networking, and asset condition assessment. Key Responsibilities Provide customer support via telephone, email, and other communication methods. Log and cluster support tickets to improve solutions and bug fixes. Support international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events with technical demonstrations (as required). Maintain and update the CRM system (C4C). Assist with general department duties, including reports, expenses, and workshop organization. Experience, Skills & Qualifications Some technical qualifications in site electrical work, IIOT implementation, networking, and deployment of wired and wireless monitoring. Ability to learn complex technical skills quickly, especially in IT and technology-related areas. Experience using an online support ticketing system and providing engineering feedback to a development team (beneficial). Strong computer skills (MS Office, social platforms, analysis software, and internal IT systems). Willingness to travel (UK and international). A full driver’s license is preferred.
