The Role
We are looking to recruit a Registered Midwife/Foundation Midwife to join the Maternity Services at University Hospital Wishaw!
Band 5 and Band 6 positions - please refer to Job Description and Person Specification for each band for further info.

What We'll Need You To Bring
BAND 5
* Registered on Part 10 of NMC Register with less than 2 years post registration experience
* Team-working skills and ability to motivate others
* Effective communication skills
* Time management skills
* Information technology skills
* Working towards maintaining Post-Registration Education and Practice Requirements
BAND 6
* Registered Midwife with valid NMC Registration
* Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
* Post graduate expertise within speciality/area of practice
* Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards
* Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies, and procedures
* Leadership skills for day-to-day management of service delivery
* Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development
* Excellent team-working/leadership skills
* Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Effective time management skills
* Working knowledge of basic information technology
It would be good if you also had
BAND 5
* Educated to Degree level
* Evidence of further education/Continuous Professional Development
* Relevant post registration experience
* Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills
* Motivation skills
BAND 6
* Demonstrable post registration experience
