Contract Administrator (6 month FTC)

Full-time position based in Newcastle-under-Lyme
6 month Fixed-term Contract, possibility of permanent role in future
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Salary: In the region of £26,000 dependant on experience

Job Description
As part of our Operations Administration Team, you will work closely with our team of administrators and Contracts Managers to administer all aspects of operational delivery.
This will include:
Receiving and setting up orders/contracts
Liaising with customers to ensure we have full accurate information and gathering feedback
Supporting the operations team with providing them with all relevant information for their job
Assist with managing holiday requests
Keeping accurate records both electronically and physical
Managing our phone lines, handling enquiries and directing call to the appropriate person
Other general administration duties as required
This will be an evolving role which will require a flexible working attitude and will offer a good opportunity of personal growth in the business.
About you:
This position could suit a candidate who has some experience in the construction or similar industry with a desire to continuously learn and develop new skills. Ideally you will have:
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Systematic, thorough, well-organised, and good time management
Ability to quickly learn different systems in the industry
Diligent, hard-working, and innovative
Good computer skills and basic competency with Microsoft suite.
Preferably an experienced Administrator who is familiar with this type of role, although training can be given.
You must be familiar with Microsoft Word & Excel spreadsheets, along with an aptitude for maths accuracy and good attention to detail.
