Cell LeadLocation: Sunbury-on-Thames, SurreyJob Type: PermanentSalary: £52kWe are seeking a dedicated Cell Lead to take ownership of scheduling, production performance, and leadership within a key manufacturing cell. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership position, ensuring smooth operations and driving continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate work in progress through shared service cells to meet operational plans. * Oversee test schedules, calibration of chambers, and test rigs. * Conduct testing to Acceptance Test Procedures and report any failures. * Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to cell employees. * Monitor and advise on production performance, ensuring SQCDP metrics are met. * Drive problem-solving initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts. * Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to. * Identify and organize training for team members based on skills requirements. * Lead daily stand-up meetings (DSUMs) to communicate targets and performance updates. * Act as 5S Champion and support lean manufacturing initiatives. * Deputize for the Production Manager when required.What We’re Looking For In Our Cell Lead: * Experience in a Cell Lead or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment. * Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to analyze production data and drive continuous improvements. * Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team. * Familiarity with SQCDP metrics and lean manufacturing principles. * A proactive and hands-on approach to managing production performance.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cell Lead to make a real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
