Farnham House Hotel is a stunning wedding venue set in over 5 acres of beautiful landscape grounds and we are looking for a Wedding & Events Sales Manager to join our very friendly team.
This role includes:
1. Increasing the sales of Weddings & Events at our venue
2. Selling of all hotel functions e.g. weddings, wakes, private dinners, conferences, parties, and many more
3. Working closely with our General Manager to market and push the hotel bookings
4. Handling of all function enquiries and bookings
5. Marketing the hotel through Social Media Platforms
6. Creating function sheets for the hotel staff to help execute the event perfectly
7. Liaising with customers after their event to get feedback and ask if there is any further business they want to place with the hotel
8. Being proactive in making sales calls/contact to new and existing customers
9. Utilising the hotel space to generate maximum revenue
10. Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for Weddings & Events Bookings
11. Cultivating relationships with prospective clients, including our couples, event planners, and vendors, to drive bookings and maximise sales opportunities
12. Conducting ‘Show-rounds’ and consultations with potential clients, showcasing the venue's features and amenities
13. Preparing and presenting proposals, contracts, and pricing packages to clients, negotiating terms as required to secure bookings
14. Managing the sales pipeline, tracking leads, inquiries, and bookings
15. Training, mentoring, and motivating Part-Time Sales Staff to effectively promote and sell the Venue
16. Monitoring sales performance and providing regular reports to management, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions if necessary
17. Working closely with our senior Social Media team to implement strategy at the Venue
Requirements:
* Proven sales experience, preferably in the Wedding or Hospitality Industry
* Strong understanding of the Wedding Market and Trends, with a passion for creating memorable experiences
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
* Flexibility to work weekends as required for client meetings and events
