Production Planner - Southampton
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturing company. They are looking to take on a production planner to ensure project and sales deadlines are achieved efficiently, on time and to budget.
The ideal candidate will have come from a manufacturing or R&D environment and can manage stock and aged inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Identify and implement improvements to processes.
+ Ordering and purchasing of materials and components.
+ Plan and implement production schedules to ensure project and customer demands are met.
Key Skills:
+ Can build and maintain strong supply chain relationships.
+ Ability to plan and implement production schedules.
+ Strong communication and organisational skills.
Experience of using CIM50 or similar MRP systems is very desirable.
The salary will be negotiable dependent on experience.
