Section Leader / Line Supervisor with a good knowledge of health and safety procedures and good manufacturing practices, who has excellent communication and team management / leadership skills is required for a well-established and expanding family-owned food and farming business.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates MUST have their own transport as the site is inaccessible by public transport.
SALARY: £30,000 to £33,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits (See below)
LOCATION: Fosdyke, Lincolnshire (PE12)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
SHIFT PATTERN: Working a two-week rolling 223-shift pattern, 07:00 – 19:00.
On week one you will work Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. On week two you will work Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. This means you get a three-day weekend every other week!

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Section Leader / Line Supervisor with a good knowledge of health and safety procedures and good manufacturing practices, who has excellent communication and team management / leadership skills.
Working as a Section Leader / Line Supervisor you will play a vital role within the business liaising with farms and management and ensuring all operational targets are achieved within budget, whilst ensuring customer service, quality and legality.
As the Section Leader / Line Supervisor you will run the spinach traying-up line, which is a hands-on role managing a small team ensuring that high standards of good manufacturing practices (GMP) are always met.
DUTIES
1. Ensuring Food Safety and Health & Safety Rules are being adhered to
2. Assisting with risk assessments and safe systems of work (SSOW)
3. Ensuring high standards of good manufacturing practices (GMP)
4. Organising and leading team for intake, stock control, traying spinach, yard management
5. Managing a small team. This includes planning and managing labour, direct and agency
6. Assist managing hygiene of areas
7. Loading and unloading lorries
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
1. A can-do attitude is a must
2. Self-motivated and flexible
3. Experience of working to challenging KPIs
4. Excellent communication skills as will be liaising with drivers, the farm team and managers
5. Competent in using Microsoft Office and processing varied paperwork
6. Strong analytical skills
